Alex is a sanctions specialist (UK, EU, UN & US) and expert in the debarment frameworks of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) such as the World Bank. He authored the MDB chapter in Lissack and Horlick on Bribery and Corruption and is a Sanctions Officer at the Caribbean Development Bank. In 2022, he was instructed with John McKendrick KC by the Attorney General of a Crown Dependency on a $ multi-billion sanctions matter, and by HM Treasury and the FCDO on the Chelsea FC sale and the implications of Russian sanctions imposed thereon.

In 2023, Alex was lead counsel in the first case to come before the UK courts under the s.38 SAMLA Court Review provision (Synesis [2023] EWHC 541 (Admin)). Berceste Elif Duranay is the founding partner of Duranay Law and Secretary General of the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center. Doran Doeh has over 40 years of experience as an English-qualified legal practitioner, initially as a barrister and subsequently as a solicitor with Allen & Overy and Dentons. He was based in London for many years and then in Moscow.

He has extensive legal experience of the international petroleum industry, both in-house and in private practice. He worked in the City of London for over a decade, during which he became known for his work on oil and gas M&A transactions as well as his financial services regulatory expertise.

He advised clients on commercial and financing transactions in Russia for over 25 years and was valued for his strategic counsel. He now practices as an international arbitrator from chambers in Gray’ Inn, London.
Doran Doeh
Doğan Gültutan is a Senior Associate and Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings) in the Baker McKenzie Dispute Resolution team based in London. Doğan acts for and against states and state bodies, with particular experience in the energy sector and large infrastructure projects. He also often advises investors on treaty planning, and leveraging international protections in the context of government interference.

Fatma Güney
Dr. Gizem Alper is a bilingual academic and international legal and ADR consultant, dual-qualified in New York and Türkiye. With an extensive professional background spanning over two decades and across three continents, she specializes in global commercial and corporate transactions as well as dispute settlement mechanisms, with a particular emphasis on dispute prevention.

Dr. Alper is a listed arbitrator and/or mediator with international tribunals, such as the London Court of International Arbitration and, holds memberships in various professional organizations. Josh Ray is an English barrister and NY/DC lawyer at Outer Temple Chambers.
